Hey everybody!
Sorry about not updating you last week. We had kind of a crazy day. This one is pretty nuts too.
Elder Larsen is leaving Waukesha! His reign is at an end, and he is going to Janesville to be the district leader there. He's so nervous about that. I, on the other hand, get to be district monkey again! Elder Bluth, my new companion, is the district leader, so I get to be Junior Companion again! I've heard that he is awesome, so I'm totally excited!
Yes, there is a lot of snow on the ground. It's cold, and wet. The wind is also picking up, which makes it even colder. I've survived one Wisconsin winter before, and I can do it again! I just need to make sure that I always have the Spirit, which will keep me warm ;)
The Book of Mormon is true! I hope all of you are on track to finish it by Christmas! It's so amazing how often it talks about Christ and His Atonement, and what we can do to receive strength because of Him. We all are in this world, doing amazing things, but we need to recognize that everything we do is because of Him. We have hope because of Him. We will all be resurrected because of Him. We can be happy because of Him. I encourage you all to strengthen your relationship with your Father in Heaven through prayer. He wants to hear from you, but you need to be the one to take the first step into the dark. Keep up the good work everybody, and never forget that you are a child of God!
